early of this morning The Star Online was reported about Facebook page named “1M Malaysians Don’t Want SKMM Block File Sharing Website” that protest againse SKMM (Suruhanjaya Komunikasi Multimedia Malaysia) action to block some File Hosting Website. I bet most of us are familiar with this website such Megaupload and ThePirateBay.
Can be read here:

the protest page in facebook:
1M Malaysians Don’t Want SKMM Block File Sharing Website
a lot of assumptions raised along the online protest such and maybe this situation will be growth up as what was applied in China or maybe more worst, like North Korea. some of ISP (Internet Service Provider) are started to block some of the website that in the list of SKMM. Although most people use it for illegal stuff but some of them are use it positively and also get the shit from this issue…
for example, how you deliver your Photoshop File in 120 MB to your client/boss? using mail? hell no, i bet you will use File Hosting, their speed is more faster! or walk yourself to send that 120 MB via the external storage to their desk.
some snacks from them:

Well, this block as devastated it might look to layman, there is still a way to get around it. One of the best way is to change your DNS to use public DNS such as Google DNS or OpenDNS. I wrote a bit of an article on how you can also change your DNS on your Android phone (useful if you are using your phone to act as a router)
